You will sample wines from around Australia and look at how wine ages and how differences in climate and soil affect the style of wine. Session includes a tasting and discussion of Australian wines including sparkling, table, dessert and fortified wines.
Students will learn how to assess wines and identify wine faults, gain a basic understanding of the main grape varieties in Australia, learn how wine grapes are grown and how wines are made, including the use of oak, gain a basic knowledge of Australian winemaking practices and wine regions...

Students must be 18 or over to participate in this course.
