Acoustic or Electric
Anatomy of guitar - posture, tuning, plectrum holding
Basic chords - major minor and dominant

Strong emphasis on rhythm guitar from basic rhythms upwards
Basic scales and introduction to improvisation and lead guitar
Learn all the notes on the neck
Blues rhythms and 12 bar blues
Power chords accenting and palm muting

By the end of this course you will have the technical and mental knowledge to make a decision on whether to go it alone or carry on with lessons. You will be able to play songs from start to finish and have a basic understanding on every aspect of the guitar

All welcome

I prefer to teach 1 on 1 and the course is set up for private tuition however it works just as well with 2 people. The course requires a starting of AT LEAST 15 minutes a day and this rises to 20 but the more you put in the more you get out. You will be required to do the practise schedule exactly as it is written.Each lesson will last approximately 45 minutes.

Guitar and folder. I have amps if electric and everything else you will need.
