Little Spoons runs 8 week cooking courses from 2 to teens.

Toddlers - Tuesday and Thursday morning at 10 am.
After school - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 3.30 pm
Teenage Cooking Class Friday at 4 pm.

Saturday morning at 10, this class is open to all age groups, we also welcome parents that want to cook with their children.

Our 8 week course for 2+ year olds is held on Tuesdays, Thursday mornings and you are more than welcome attend our Saturday class.

We also cater for large groups of children cooking, with school groups or vacation care.

Little Spoons cooking classes are designed for children aged from 2 years to teens. Classes are held in a bright, fun-filled kitchen in Rozelle, Sydney. A typical class runs for one hour and children will learn facts about healthy foods while preparing and enjoying practical hands-on cooking activities. The classes are designed to be educational and fun and each child will participate by measuring, mixing, peeling, and preparing recipes under the supervision of our trained chefs.

All Little Spoons menus use fresh, seasonal produce and the recipes are attractive to the preschool age group. Making food fun is one of our most important philosophies.

Classes run for 9 weeks of the school term, or on a casual drop-in basis, and the groups are small – no more than 6-8 children per group. This gives your child the opportunity to become confident with new friends while learning to work with others, cooperating and sharing. At the same time a host of other skills are enhanced: measuring and counting improves mathematical concepts, tasting and smelling improves sensory learning, safety concepts are developed through food hygiene habits, and hand and eye coordination increases motor skill development. All while having wonderful fun in the kitchen.

All the recipes from the class can easily be prepared at home, giving your child the chance to ’show off’ what they’ve learnt in the kitchen and maybe cook for the whole family!

All food and equipment is supplied, and children’s special dietary requirements can be catered for provided we are informed in advance. Special needs children are always very welcome.
