EDITED WITH TYPOS REMOVED !!!

To avoid any confusion the reference to a message "above" related to the message "below" which suggested obtaining guidance from the individual institution about their prior learning policies.

This remains the best advice. Once you know what the institution does or does not accept a tutor is better able to comply, or not comply, with any stated policies.

Repeating that THE GOLD COAST FRENCH SPEAKERS GROUP currently holds no accreditations. However we have sold over 100 copies of the text-book "Easy French Steb by Step" which our tutors use and follow.

Hi Kim, each institution has its own rules and regulations regarding recognition of prior learning. I don't know what QUT's rules are. Obviously it depends on the course you're intending studying there - if it's psychology there's obviously more chance, for example. In general I'd say tertiary institutions tend not to recognise other courses unless they are very closely related subjects. Sorry I can't be more specific than that!

Please note that the answer given above relates to tutoring by tutors associated with The Gold Coast French Speakers Group and not to any other courses at the domore site

We wish to advise that we have made no approach to any university to recognise our tutoring. The best suggestion we can make is that a student keeps a record of attendances and requests the individual tutor to write a letter of recommendation based on the student's learning. We are not able to predict the outcome of such a letter, and it may be wise to check an institution's guidance on this question.
