The course will also include 6 additional units chosen from the
electives list.

Career Options
This course will assist you to gain employment in community
services where first point of contact is made.
This could include a crisis situation where referral to a broad
range of services is required. You could also work in residential
facilities and or community services.

How the course is run
The course is usually run 2 days per week for 3 months.
Incorporated into the course is 100 hours of practical work
placement.
