This is the key skill of travel industry employees and these reservations systems are used on a daily basis by airline, travel agency and tour company employees. If you need to learn these skills fast (with a particular job in mind) or need a course to complement university management qualifications then this accelerated course will help you gain insight and understanding into the use of the Abacus reservations system and all reservations systems. Duration: 40 Hours online including final assessment.

What you will learn:

On this course you will learn how to check for airline seat availability, make, amend and cancel client bookings, quote airfares, issue e-tickets and many more travel industry processes – you will actually be doing what Travel Industry Employees do each day while learning a great deal about the airline and agency sectors.

PREREQUISITES

This is a stand alone course, with no formal prerequisites

If you know something about the industry and how it works it will be a great help.

If you are not currently working in the industry you should consider taking the Introduction to Travel & Tourism course as well to give you the background to the travel industry that will be helpful.

PC and keyboard skills are however, considered necessary for travel industry employment. To improve keyboard skills why not take a Typequick course?
