The Diploma of Financial Planning is designed to deliver the broad base skills and knowledge required to function effectively in the realm of delivering financial guidance and planning for individuals. Financial planners are required to establish an individual’s financial standings and objectives, develop investment strategies, monitor investment performance, collect information for budgeting, reporting and returns and assist where possible with financial queries. This is a nationally recognised qualification and meets the ASIC Regulatory Guideline 146 (RG146). The course will be delivered via a mixed delivery method of online learning and practical assessment activities. Regulations in the industry are prescribed by ASIC and must be adhered to by all practitioners. RG146 Compliant - On completion of the entire 17 units in this course graduates will meet the training requirements for RG146 in generic knowledge and skills, and the specialist knowledge and skill requirements for financial planning, managed investments, superannuation and life insurance. Inclusions Courses include on-line learning materials, assessments and certification. Trainer and Assessor support is provided throughout the learning via email and online chat forums.
