If you want to work on a construction site then you require this card
All persons working on construction sites in Victoria (this also applies in WA, QLD, NSW, and SA), are required to hold a White Card to prove they have completed basic, industry wide Occupational Health and Safety induction training.
Some examples of the construction industry (but not limited to) are:
Housing construction, civil construction, repairs, refurbishment, renovations, carpentry, bricklaying, concreting, asbestos removal, plumbing, and roof, floor and wall tiling.

Dealing with accidents and incidents
Being aware of psycho-social workplace factors
Using signage and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Course outcome:
On successful completion of this course, the participant will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. This will allow them to work in the construction industry while WorkSafe Victoria is processing their White Card
Career or Study Pathways:
The Construction Induction Card course will provide credit for the unit of competency CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry, a unit from the Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework Training Package CPC08
Pre-requisites:
Participants must possess basic english skills
Proof of Identity will be required on the day.
