doMore was our original passion project born out of the desire to help connect people wanting to learn something new with experts that could teach them over 10 years ago.

Over the years we have helped almost 70,000 learners connect with one of over 1,500 courses and providers, across the country. For that, we're very proud and grateful for your contribution.

doMore.com.au also served to teach us about how to help measure and improve business performance and inspired the launch and growth of two other companies as a result, one of which we've decided to dedicate our resources and energy to making great.

Power yoga is different from most typical forms of yoga. We don’t try to bend you into a prezel or force you into a posture. You find your own expression within the posture.
Power yoga is for everyone whatever they are seeking, no matter what age, weight or fitness level.

It is an energising practice and sculpt, hones, and tones every muscle in the body.

5 Pillars of Power Yoga

Breath

The breath we use is Ujjayi breathing (ooh-jy-yee) the ujjayi breath is an audible breath that has soothing, rhythmic, oceanic quality. Breath is through the nose and out the nose. Maintaining your breath is the single most important element of yoga practice. The breath is done by contracting the throat to create a long thin breath. The breath is what links your mind to your body. Throughout your practice keep remembering to breath….deep and free!

Heat

The warm room can boost the purifying fire, so we like to keep the studio room to a comfortable temperature of 30 degrees. With the strong flow of power yoga it will fuel your inner furnace, and the breath fans the fire throughout your practice.
The heat will help you sweat which allows the body to release toxins and metabolic debris and excess fluids. It will cleanse your internal organs and purifying the blood.
During the warmer times of the year we will allow the room to keep its own natural heat from the day without using heating panels.

Flow

Each pose flows right into the next .It is a beautiful melding of fluid and flexible strength, mental focus, deep breathing and stability in motion. Flow is the absence of resistance. You can build a magnificent momentum and heat and move through your practice effortlessly and therefore encourages meditation in motion. It will keep your internal heat up and elevates your cardiovascular system.

Drishti

Part of Drisht is Samadhi, “neutral vision” Sama means ‘ even or neutral’ and Dhi means “vision” to see without judgment. It means fusing your eyes to one point or gaze. This focus will send soothing messages to the nervous system and brings the mind from distraction to directrion. Drishti allows you to slow your mind and engage more deeply in your practice. Drishti is key to all balancing poses a nonreactive mind.

Uddiyana

In every pose we activate Uddiyana bandha or upward lifting lock. A Banda is a lock the anchors you into stability and strength. Uddiayana is a gentle lifting of the abdomen toward the spine. Uddiyana tones the internal organs and also plays a vital role in protecting you lower back. Remember you will always be engaging Uddiyana in every pose.
