doMore was our original passion project born out of the desire to help connect people wanting to learn something new with experts that could teach them over 10 years ago.

Over the years we have helped almost 70,000 learners connect with one of over 1,500 courses and providers, across the country. For that, we're very proud and grateful for your contribution.

doMore.com.au also served to teach us about how to help measure and improve business performance and inspired the launch and growth of two other companies as a result, one of which we've decided to dedicate our resources and energy to making great.

The PTC is founded on the principle of ‘learning by doing’. It is designed to help you actively achieve understanding and competence in the National Competency Standards for Entry Level Lawyers. At the same time, the PTC gives you further opportunities to develop your career options.

When you satisfactorily complete the PTC you are entitled to apply for admission to legal practice in Victoria with reciprocal admission in other Australian states.

The PTC (Onsite and Online) is a 24-week course of training, including a three-week professional placement, with two intakes per year.

Leo Cussen provides:

* a Practical Training Course (Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice) in onsite and online delivery modes for law graduates (‘Practical Legal Training’)
* Traineeship Programs (‘Supervised Workplace Training’, replacing ‘Articled Clerkships’) for law graduates employed by firms and legal practices
* Continuing Professional Development for lawyers including customised CPD programs
* Customised law-related programs for all professionals and regular legal professional development programs for legal support staff
* Publications about law and legal practice for lawyers and law graduates

The Centre also participates in Special Projects and Partnerships that support the administration of justice.

Established in 1972 by an Act of the Victorian Parliament (Leo Cussen Institute Act 1972 [PDF, 104KB]) to provide continuing legal education for legal practitioners in Victoria and to perform certain functions in connection with legal education, Leo Cussen continues to be recognised as a centre of excellence for practical legal training and professional development for lawyers.
