Artzillery began in 2002 with an art class of 9 students in an old school hall in Leongatha, under the guidance of local art teacher, Renae Littlejohn. Renae could see that art in school was less about self-expression, and too for free thinking, creative young minds. Word of mouth has taken her business to over 130 students for weekly art sessions, ranging in age from 3 – 83 years. Yes, that’s right, even older students are welcome at Artzillery. Renae’s philosophy is that our imagination is our greatest gift. It can allow us to release feelings of fear, anger, sadness, love and joy. Self- expression is motivating, and it builds self-confidence. She also believes that if we turned the television off more and gave our children age-appropriate, good quality art products, they will be more content and less destructive.

Renae’s passion for art has extended now to the sale of amazing art supplies through her retail outlet and online store. Her association with the Micador Group ensures that she provides top quality, age appropriate products for her customers throughout Australia.

We hope you enjoy our website. If you are interested in learning more about after school art classes, school holiday programs, womens and corporate workshops, or even about owning your own Artzillery store through our franchise opportunity, please feel free to contact us.
