Thank you from doMore

I'd like to thank you for being involved in the doMore.com.au community and the team and I hope that you've received value from being a part of it.

doMore was our original passion project born out of the desire to help connect people wanting to learn something new with experts that could teach them over 10 years ago.

Over the years we have helped almost 70,000 learners connect with one of over 1,500 courses and providers, across the country. For that, we're very proud and grateful for your contribution.

doMore.com.au also served to teach us about how to help measure and improve business performance and inspired the launch and growth of two other companies as a result, one of which we've decided to dedicate our resources and energy to making great.

We'll be switching the site off on Tuesday 31st of July. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly on [email protected].

Thanks again and good luck with your teaching endeavours in the future.

Warm regards,

The doMore team.

Heart attack is a very common cause of death. A severe heart attack often results in cardiac arrest. In this case, the heart usually beats very erratically and cannot generate circulation of blood to the body. If a normal heartbeat is not restored within a few minutes the victim will die.

Automated external defibrillators (AED's) are designed to diagnose cardiac arrest and, when appropriate, to deliver an electric shock to try to restore a normal heart rhythm.

They can be used safely by people with minimal training.

You can get CPR, AED and first aid training from in Emergency First Response Redcliffe First Aid Training Centre. Our training approach to training builds your confidence to provide care when there is a medical emergency - and confidence is everything when a true emergency is at hand. We do this by teaching CPR and first aid skills in a non-stressful learning environment and providing more hands-on skill practice time. General academic information is covered using our independent study materials. This allows the instructor to focus class time on skill development rather than lecture. More practice time means better skill retention, which gives you the confidence to respond in the event of a medical emergency. Courses are offered worldwide through our network of more than 31,000 Instructors and Instructor Trainers. Now is the time to get trained. As the terrible reality of disasters makes us all aware, we are vulnerable, but we are not helpless.
