Educational, recreational and social support programs for eveyone in the community: English as a Second Language Classes, Playgroups and Childcare, Short Vocational courses in Cafe Work and Office Skills, Art and Craft Activities, Computer Training, specialist programs for people of all abilities, Chinese speaking activity group, Kids Art and much more.
Please do not let cost stop you from attending one of our programs. We keep a number of places free for people who are financially disadvantaged and for people recovering from mental illness.
About Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre
KNLC is a community managed organisation committed to providing, educational, recreational, social support and community development activities for people who live in Boroondara and surrounding suburbs.
KNLC thrives on the diversity of its community and is more than a place to do courses. Come down and find out what is behind the picket fence. The Sparechair cafe provides a place for people to come together over a coffee and training for disadvantaged members of our local community. Out the back you will find chooks, a kitchen garden and the men’s shed.
We are always looking for new ways of bringing people together so come and talk to us about your ideas and interests.
