Wishing on a star

Posted by Magentas Trinkets on December 10, 2011

My life has always been involved with art, as a child I would lie on the grass and make patterns and shapes out of the clouds. I loved to draw and paint and felt calm and absorbed whenever I did anything creative.

Art was my escape from an otherwise chaotic world.

When I discovered Jewellery college I was 18 years old. I loved every class I went to and I found a medium I preferred to work in. To me a piece of jewellery is a minature sculpture. The process can be long or short to create a piece of jewellery but whatever the process it is satisfying and rewarding to see the end result being worn.

Making jewellery has been part of my life for many years and now I'd like to encourage it to be part of other peoples life by sharing my knowledge and experience.

Teaching workshops in beginners jewellery will be a new challenge for me and I hope to enjoy passing on some of techniques I have learnt.
