This ONE DAY AQF Level III program is intended to cover the essentails skills and knowledge that students will require to gain employment and to serve in a bar area of a Restaurant, Hotel or Registered Club.

The intent of this program is to develop the students skills, knowledge and understanding of beverage service that will assist them to meet the standards expected by their current or perspective employer. In order to gain a statement of attainment there will be a practical assessment and by the end of the program they will need to be able to:-

Close a bar after service
Opearate equipment and select appropriate glassware
Provide customers with information of the products available from your bar
Take and process orders from your customers for a range of drinks
Pour draught beer and prepare garnishes
Demonstrate the mixing and service of a range of beverages to industry standards.
Use the correct cleaning methods and products to ensure a clean and hygienic workplace.
