Dear Elefterios,

Further to your enquiry please see course details below regarding our Wine Courses.

Wine Appreciation — The Beginning Learn about wine where it all begins – the vineyard.

This course is delivered either at The Gordon’s City Campus or on site at Lethbridge Estate Vineyard and Winery facilitated by the owner and winemaker Ray Nadeson. Ray not only operates his own winery, but consults and makes wine for a number of wineries in the region and is a recognised wine judge.

Designed for those in the hospitality industry, or individuals with a desire to improve their knowledge of wine; the only prerequisite for the course is that you enjoy drinking wine and would like to know why!

The content includes:
• basic wine tasting techniques
• wine styles
• grape varieties
• production methods
• wine regions and matching wine to food

When attending an onsite session at the vineyard, you may also get the opportunity to experience some aspects of the winemaking processes first hand.

Session 1 Introduction to basic wine tasting techniques
Session 2 Tasting and discussing white wines
Session 3 Tasting and discussing red wines
