Thank you from doMore

I'd like to thank you for being involved in the doMore.com.au community and the team and I hope that you've received value from being a part of it.

doMore was our original passion project born out of the desire to help connect people wanting to learn something new with experts that could teach them over 10 years ago.

Over the years we have helped almost 70,000 learners connect with one of over 1,500 courses and providers, across the country. For that, we're very proud and grateful for your contribution.

doMore.com.au also served to teach us about how to help measure and improve business performance and inspired the launch and growth of two other companies as a result, one of which we've decided to dedicate our resources and energy to making great.

We'll be switching the site off on Tuesday 31st of July. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly on [email protected].

Thanks again and good luck with your teaching endeavours in the future.

Warm regards,

The doMore team.

Classes are all one-day and one-off sessions. They are conducted in a causal and relaxed environment in a suburban home. Fully hands-on, all classes are small groups of 5 (maximum) to ensure personal attention to all participants. Organic ingredients will be used where possible.

A typical class commences with an introduction to the Japanese/ Asian pantry, as well as a detailed explanation of the background and context of each dish and particular ingredients. Then all participants will be invited to put on their aprons and start the fun hands-on practice. Demonstration and cooking instruction are given throughout the session and we ensure that every participant is given exposure to all the dishes. Then everyone get to enjoy a full sit-down lunch accompanied by specialty teas to crown your participation in the class.

Recipes and course notes are included. All you need to bring is an apron.

Welcome to Living Cuisine!

Living Cuisine offers cooking classes in Japanese cooking.

We are based in Oakleigh, Melbourne, Australia.

Going beyond sushi and sashimi, there are so much more in Japanese cooking. The common impression is that Japanese dishes are difficult to make. Sure, there are particular logics to it. However, once you get to know the background and basics, and with a bit of technique, you will find many of the dishes quite easy to be reproduced at home.

When thinking about Japanese food, most people are familar with tempura and sukiyaki. Do you know that Japanese cooking is also very big on salads, soups, braising, steaming and grilling? They love using healthy ingredients like miso, seaweed, tofu, fish and vegetables in cooking. Japanese cooking is a chic and healthy choice for modern life.

Our teaching approach is to make Japanese cooking as easily understandable as possible. We explain backgrounds and basics comprehensively. Our hands-on sessions provide opportunies for participants to experience Japanese cooking first hand and apply newly learnt techniques. Our sit-down lunch served in Japanese ceramics enriches the whole experience.

We teach authentic dishes of both traditional and modern recipes.
