Do you have training courses for Apple Mac?

I require training in utilising 'I photo' more fully as well as' Word'. I would also appreciate help to understand better the techniques used in storing files and backing up.

If you were based in Adelaide I would be able to offer 1 on 1 tuition in iPhoto and many other aspects of the Mac

No unfortunately.
Sorry we are unable to advise who could help in this area. Cheers

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Apple Mac courses at Yarrunga Community Centre. Unfortunately, our Centre runs on Windows 7, as do our classes.
We wish you well with your search for your desired course!

Hello Joanne,
Thanks for contacting us!

One of my team members, who runs our ipad Classes can certainly help you. Matt's business is helping people with Apple products, and he can certainly help you with your photos and Word issues .

However this sort of training is not classes as such - rather it is individual in-home training.

Hope that helps,

Kind regards
Viv

Hi!

We don't have much to do with Mac's at the moment, but we do have trainers that are proficient in Macs and mac applications. Also in running virtualisation software in Macs so that you can have the best of both worlds: Windows and Lion. We have Mac, iPad and iPhone resoruces on order, and can support learning in Apple products, and also Adobe software.

We don't know much about iPhono, but could research that for you. As to Word, we are experts in that, and can help your productivity no end! We also offer training in security, backing up, file management and general computing sense.

All of this would be one-to-one training, which ranges from $85-$120 per hour, depending on how long for and where we have to travel to. ..we are specialists you see, and don't run courses to cater for everything and everyone. However, if you have colleagues who also want training, we can set up a customised course for you at a special day rate, for up to 12 people.

Another avenue is for us to supply resources for you that you can use in self-paced and online learning. We have our own books, as well as supplying those from Woodsland and Element K. If you are interested in these, Google the names and browse their web sites for titles and get back to us with those you'd like to order. Element K attracts a $40 freight fee per order as they are from the US. Woodslane books are freight free, delivered to your door if you order over $150.

Mark
