Learn how to use direct and appropriate language how to handle criticism and employ techniques for dealing with anger. There will be an emphasis on greater self-awareness and peace of mind.
Students will gain:
An understanding of the impact of non-assertive behavioural styles
A clear understanding of the implications of your behavioural style for your relationships/stress levels/quality of life
An understanding of your internal resources which can facilitate movement to a more assertive style
Those skills and techniques (verbal and non-verbal) necessary for assertive behaviour
Confidence in using assertive communication...

By the end of the course you will have learn't how to use direct and appropriate language on how to handle criticism and employ the techniques for dealing with anger. You will know how to become assertive confident and self-assured in your life.
Participants must be over 15 to enrol.
Class size - 12. Classes run for one day from 9am-5pm.
Students to provide a journal pen and notebook.
