CNLC is now run by a community-based committee of management, operating every weekday, some nights of the week and some weekends. The main activities of the Centre are Further Education and Community Development classes and programs, and the provision of community information.
CNLC is located at 20 Princes Street, Carlton North. The Centre is open to the general community. with focus on local people who are experiencing disadvantage. Centre participants come from a diverse range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and age groups.
The committee currently employs two coordinators - the Centre Manager and a Further Education Co-ordinator, who work together as a team. It also employs over 20 tutors, volunteers and program staff.
