This course is intended primary for advanced users of AutoCAD such as CAD Managers and lead drafters. The course aims at providing the necessary grounding in the fundamental principles and methods in the use of LISP with AutoCAD to create custom programs and routines that increase efficiencies for day to day tasks and workflows.

Course Objectives:

* To enable the student to write simple routines in AutoLISP.
* To establish the fundamentals of building bigger and more complex applications.

Prerequisites:

It is recommended that the student have the following:

* Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD and its terms including command names, aliases and system/drawing variables.
* Experience in menu customisation and creating macros and scripts is an advantage.
