Classes in Acting and Drama

Posted by Peter Sardi School Of Acting on October 29, 2010

In February 1980 I taught my very first acting class.
I continue the  journey I started over thirty years ago. This year I  began my fourth decade of teaching and directing actors in our Melbourne Acting Studio. To my current acting students and to my graduates - quite a few are now working in the industry - I wish you continued growth & learning.

"Our job as actors is to create the life of the human spirit and clothe it in human form." ... C. Stanislavski     This ability, to create the life of the human spirit and clothe it in human form, comes solely from the actor. An actor’s tools are his body, his imagination and his sensibilities, all of which can be developed through systematic work in our acting classes.  So to my very first acting class students way back in February of 1980, wherever you are, and to my acting class students of 2010 – I wish you all a great adventure on this ongoing journey.  May your growth as an actor/artist flow into your everyday life in the hope of making you a better human being.

“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination." … Don Williams Jr.

May your journey never end. … Peter Sardi February 1st 2010 Melbourne Australia
